Puppops

Puppops was a dream project — a chance to build a brand’s photographic world from the ground up. Working directly with the founders, I helped shape how their new company would look and feel across every visual touchpoint. From concept and production through to the final edit, this project reflects the full scope of what I love to do: thoughtful art direction, hands-on production, and photography that brings a brand to life.

Defining the Look

I began by collaborating with the founders to define a visual direction that felt both premium and full of personality. Through mood boards, color studies, and early test shots, we established a palette and tone that could carry across product, ingredient, and lifestyle imagery.
The goal was to create something bright, graphic, and design-forward — but with warmth and humor at its core.

Product & Ingredient Imagery

I photographed all products in my studio, sourcing and styling props to complement each flavor’s identity. I partnered with the immensely talented food stylist Emily Caneer to create ingredient compositions that highlighted the real, natural ingredients behind every recipe, keeping the aesthetic clean, colorful, and consistent.
Each setup was built to translate seamlessly across web, social, and packaging — creating a cohesive system for the brand’s launch.

Lifestyle & Production

For the lifestyle shoot, I managed the full production process — location scouting, scheduling, and on-set photography. I selected a multi-setting property that let us move between poolside, garden, and seamless environments, giving the brand a complete asset library in one shoot day.
My longtime assistant handled digital capture and retouching, ensuring the final collection of images felt polished and unified.

A Playful, Purposeful Brand World

The resulting imagery introduced Puppops with a strong, recognizable voice — playful yet elevated, natural yet intentional. Each image supports the brand’s mission of creating purposeful treats that celebrate both design and joy.
This project remains one of my favorite examples of end-to-end creative collaboration: building a visual identity that feels cohesive, character-driven, and made to last.
